On April 9, 2009, a majority of MPPs voted to pass Bill 156 and refer it to the Legislature's Social Policy Committee for public hearings.

This is great news for consumers and public health advocates!  But, we have to send a clear message to Ontario law-makers that this bill needs to be promptly considered by the Standing Committee on Social Policy--not shoved to a backburner--and passed.
