On April 9, 2009, a majority of MPPs voted to pass Bill 156 and refer it to the Legislature's Social Policy Committee for clause-by-clause study.  This is great news for consumers and public health advocates!  But, we have to send a clear message to Ontario law-makers that this bill needs to be promptly considered by the Committee, not put on a backburner.

Tell your MP to urge Minister of Finance, the Honourable Jim Flaherty, to help Canada's struggling economy, help Canadian families deal with rising costs of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and help Canadian children follow sound dietary advice by leading an increase in public and private investment in healthy school foods.
